Key Responsibilities
Working as a tow truck driver, you will be responsible for:
Roadside Assistance: Providing quick, en-route mechanical fixes like jump-starts, changing tires, and minor engine diagnostics.
Vehicle Recovery & Towing: Securing and loading broken-down or crashed vehicles onto a flatbed or hooking them up using chains, winches, and steering blocks.
Impounding & Enforcement: Towing illegally parked or obstructing vehicles to impound lots on behalf of law enforcement or private property owners.
Customer Service: Communicating clearly with stranded motorists, keeping them safe, and calming stressed or frustrated individuals at the scene.
Vehicle Maintenance: Conducting pre- and post-trip inspections to ensure tow trucks, winches, and rigging equipment are safe, legal, and operational
Qualifications
To qualify for this job, you will need the following:
