Key Responsibilities
As a Motor Vehicle Body Repairer – Refinishing, your responsibilities will include:
- Inspecting repaired vehicles for quality and safety
- Planning and organizing repair work
- Providing professional customer service
- Test driving vehicles to ensure proper handling
- Cleaning and maintaining the work area
- Replacing front-end, body, door, frame, and underbody components
- Filing, grinding, sanding, masking, and taping surfaces
- Removing dents, buckles, and defects using appropriate tools
- Removing and installing damaged panels, fenders, and grills
- Applying primers and repainting vehicle surfaces
- Repairing or replacing interior components
- Repairing or replacing windshields, windows, and sunroofs
- Mixing paint and matching colors accurately
