Key Responsibilities
While working as a heavy-duty cleaner, you will be responsible for the following tasks:
- Sweep, mop, scrub, and wax hallways, floors, and stairs
- Operate industrial vacuum cleaners to remove scraps, dirt, heavy debris, and other refuse
- Empty trash cans and other waste containers
- Wash windows, interior walls, and ceilings
- Perform safety and security checks
- Move heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies
- Clean and disinfect bathrooms and fixtures
- Work with minimal supervision
- Operate specialized cleaning equipment and machinery
- Use industrial vacuum cleaners and power sweepers
- Operate carpet cleaning, polishing, waxing, and steam-cleaning machines
- Use upholstery and swimming pool maintenance and cleaning equipment
- Apply specialized environmental cleaning skills as required
