Key Responsibilities
As a Carpenter, you will perform a range of construction and carpentry duties. Your responsibilities may include:
- Read blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine work requirements.
- Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join wood and other construction materials.
- Work with wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials.
- Build foundations and install floor beams.
- Lay subflooring and erect walls and roof systems.
- Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings and hardware.
- Use hand tools and other carpentry equipment safely and effectively.
- Follow construction plans, specifications and workplace safety procedures.
- Maintain accurate and high-quality workmanship on construction projects.
- Work effectively with other members of the construction team.

Requirements
The ideal candidate should have practical carpentry experience, the required trade certification and the ability to perform physically demanding construction work in outdoor and elevated environments.
Experience
