Key Responsibilities

As a Hotel Receptionist, you will be responsible for front desk and guest service operations. Your duties may include:

  • Greeting guests and providing excellent customer service
  • Taking, canceling, and modifying room reservations
  • Processing group arrivals and departures
  • Handling guest check-ins and check-outs
  • Investigating and resolving guest complaints and claims
  • Processing payments, balancing cash, and preparing reports
  • Providing information about hotel services and local attractions
  • Maintaining records of room availability and reservations
  • Answering telephone calls and relaying messages
  • Assisting guests with special needs and requests
  • Delivering requested wake-up calls
  • Following hotel emergency and safety procedures
  • Performing basic clerical duties such as filing, faxing, and photocopying

Qualifications & Requirements

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • No prior experience required (training provided)
  • Fluency in French
