Key Responsibilities
As a Warehouse Assistant (Core Cutting), you will be responsible for supporting warehouse operations, logistics coordination and core sample preparation while maintaining high safety and quality standards. Your responsibilities may include:
- Managing day-to-day warehouse operations, layout and organisation.
- Coordinating inbound and outbound logistics for core samples, equipment and consumables.
- Tracking inventory, tooling and consumables and maintaining accurate records.
- Organising transportation to and from remote exploration sites.
- Ensuring warehouse and storage areas meet safety, quality and compliance standards.
- Operating core saw equipment safely and accurately.
- Cutting core samples according to sampling and quality procedures.
- Loading and unloading core trays.
- Operating and overseeing the core saw container.
- Ensuring compliance with health, safety and environmental requirements.
- Completing pre-start and post-operation checks on core saw equipment.
- Performing minor maintenance on saw equipment when required.
- Managing core saw water waste in accordance with training and environmental procedures.

Requirements
The ideal candidate should be organised, reliable and safety-conscious, with the ability to perform physical warehouse duties while handling core cutting, documentation and logistics responsibilities.
Experience
- Previous experience operating core saws or similar equipment is preferred but not essential.
- Previous warehouse assistant experience is an advantage.
- Experience with warehouse operations, inventory or logistics is beneficial.
- Ability to safely operate equipment and follow workplace procedures.
- Comfortable performing manual handling and physical warehouse tasks.
