Key Responsibilities
As a Landscape Worker, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Assisting with landscape construction projects
- Cutting and maintaining grass areas
- Weeding, pruning, and trimming trees and shrubs
- Raking grounds and collecting debris
- Removing litter and garbage
- Transporting and spreading topsoil and other materials
- Laying sod or seeding turf areas
- Applying fertilizers
- Watering and maintaining lawns, plants, and gardens
- Operating and maintaining landscaping equipment
- Repairing and servicing tools and machinery

Qualifications
Education:
Secondary (high) school graduation certificate required.
Experience:
3 years to less than 5 years of related landscaping experience.
Certificates:
First Aid Certificate required.
Security Requirements:
- Criminal record check
- Driving record check (abstract)
Equipment Experience
Applicants should have experience operating:
- Chain saw
- Front-end loader
- Pick-up truck
- Small engine equipment
- Sod cutter
- Sprayer or duster
- Tractor
- Tractor mower
- Weed trimmer/edger

The Landscape Worker will work in:

- Fast-paced and physically demanding conditions
