Key Responsibilities
As a Dairy Farm Worker, your primary responsibilities would include:
- Feeding and tending dairy cattle
- Milking cows using automated milking systems
- Monitoring animal health and assisting with treatments
- Supervising milking operations
- Monitoring and assisting during the calving process
- Preparing clean, dry areas for cows during calving
- Cleaning stables, barns, barnyards, and pens
- Clearing and collecting brush and debris from fields and work areas
- Operating and maintaining farm machinery (tractor, skidsteer)
