Key Responsibilities
As a Class 1 Truck Driver, you will:
- Operate and drive tractor-trailers for long-haul deliveries
- Transport goods across provincial routes
- Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections
- Ensure cargo is properly secured
- Maintain accurate logbooks and delivery records
- Communicate with dispatch regarding routes and schedules
- Load and unload goods when required
- Follow all safety and traffic regulations

Driving Experience Required
Experience with the following is highly valued:
- Long-haul transportation
- Flatbed and dry van trailers
- Refrigerated trailers (reefer)
- Cross-border deliveries
- Freight documentation and logbooks
Experience with electronic logging devices (ELDs) is considered an asset.
Qualifications
In order to qualify for the job you will require at least the following qualifications:
Education
Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
OR equivalent experience
Experience
1 year to less than 2 years of commercial driving experience
Work Environment
- On the road and customer delivery locations
- Tight delivery schedules
- Physically demanding tasks
- Extended periods of sitting and driving
- On-site work only (no remote option)
Physical Requirements
You must be able to:
- Lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
- Sit for extended periods
- Perform repetitive tasks
- Handle freight securely
- Maintain strong attention to detail
Security & Transportation
- Criminal record check required
- Valid Class 1 Driver’s Licence required
- Clean driving abstract required
- Valid passport (for cross-border routes, if applicable)
