A well-established company is hiring a permanent full-time stone mason in Surrey, BC (Canada). This role involves working in various work locations; frequent and constant travel is required by the employee. There is no option to work remotely.
The opportunity is open for candidates who have hands-on experience in preparing and laying bricks, concrete blocks, structural tiles or other masonry units. The ideal candidate is expected to display punctuality, accuracy and reliability; the preferred candidate must be a team player and a professional. Key Responsibilities
Working as a stonemason, you will be responsible for the following:
- Prepare and lay bricks, concrete blocks, structural tiles or other masonry units
- Lay bricks, stone or similar materials to provide veneer facing
- Build patios, garden walls and other decorative installations
- Read sketches and blueprints to calculate materials required
- Work at heights, on scaffolding or swing stages
- Cut and trim bricks and concrete blocks to specification using hand and power tools
Qualifications
