Key Responsibilities

As a Crane Operator, your responsibilities will include:

  • Operating cranes up to 100 tonne safely and efficiently
  • Supporting civil construction projects across various locations
  • Assisting with piling equipment operations when required
  • Reading and following lift plans and job specifications
  • Completing daily paperwork and site documentation
  • Working independently and guiding other team members when needed
  • Assisting with on-site labouring tasks when required
  • Adhering to Zero Harm safety principles and safe systems of work
  • Maintaining equipment and ensuring site safety compliance

Qualifications & Requirements

You must be able to fulfill the following criteria in order to be eligible for the job:

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Crane Operator (up to 100 tonne)
  • Current C0 and C1 crane licences
  • Civil construction background
  • Experience working in fast-paced and remote environments
  • Strong attention to detail and safety awareness

Licences & Tickets Required

  • Construction Induction Safety Certificate (White Card)
  • Current DG, RB, RI, RA, and EWP licences
  • Valid Australian driver’s licence
  • Ability to interpret lift plans

Additional Requirements

  • Willingness to travel for project-based work
  • Strong communication skills
  • Mature, adaptable, and professional approach to work
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Willingness to undergo a pre-employment medical check
