Key Responsibilities
As an Industrial Electrician with CES, you will work across a range of sites and industries, delivering high-quality electrical services. Your duties may include:
- Performing electrical installation and maintenance across various industrial environments
- Installing and maintaining VSDs, soft starters, and control systems
- Conducting fault-finding and preventative maintenance
- Completing RCD, appliance, and emergency stop testing
- Responding to breakdowns and troubleshooting effectively
- Designing and installing electrical cabling, apparatus, and support systems
- Reviewing client requests and carrying out on-site works
- Procuring materials and coordinating installation needs
- Submitting job cards, service reports, and documentation
- Maintaining clear and responsible communication with internal and external stakeholders
- Following mining industry regulations and Australian Standards AS/NZS 3000 & 2007
- Upholding company, site, and state WHS requirements
- Participating in company and site meetings
- Representing CES values: respect, accountability, innovation, quality, safety, sustainability, and collaboration
Qualifications & Requirements
In order to be eligible to work for CES the ideal candidates must have the following:
Essential Skills & Experience
- Permanent rights to work in Australia
- Current Electrical Licence
- Experience in industrial electrical installations
- Strong skills in electrical fault-finding and problem-solving
- Current Australian driver’s licence
- Valid CPR & LVR certificate
Additional Requirements
- Reliable and self-motivated
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to follow safety rules, standards, and procedures
- Professional approach and ability to work independently when required
