Key Responsibilities
As a Health Care Assistant at Huntleigh Home, you will play a vital role in supporting residents with their daily living needs while promoting independence, wellbeing, and social engagement. Your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering high-quality, personalised care to residents
- Assisting with activities of daily living in line with Eden principles and wellbeing domains
- Supporting residents to maintain independence and make personal choices
- Attending to residents’ needs promptly and compassionately
- Encouraging social interaction and participation in activities
- Working under the supervision and guidance of Registered Nurses (RN)
- Ensuring care is delivered with respect, empathy, and professionalism

Qualifications & Requirements
Huntleigh Home is looking for candidates who possess the following:
Essential Skills & Experience
- Passion for supporting the wellbeing of older people
- Good verbal communication and documentation skills
- Ability to work respectfully with residents, families, and colleagues
- Basic computer skills
Preferred (Not Essential)
- Previous experience in aged care, healthcare assistance, or support work
- Willingness to gain relevant healthcare qualifications while working
