Prairie Crane Inc is on the look out and hiring employees in the capacity of Full-time Crane Operators on a long term basis to manage their Crane Fleet. Prairie Crane Inc is family owned company located in Saskatoon. Prairie Crane Inc, that owns a large and diverse range of Crane Fleets is involved with work on commercial, residential and industrial/mine sites. This means that the Crane Operators shall be working both locally as well out of town as required.

This is a full time position, the applicants must be local or willing to relocate to Saskatoon, Sk. The company is offering:

  • An hourly wage of $44.35–$53.71

Job Requirements for Crane Operator Role

Prairie Crane Inc. is looking for candidates with the following qualifications and traits:

Education & Certification

  • Class 1A Licence (required)
  • 3rd Year Apprentice or Journeyperson Certification
  • SCOT & Rights and Responsibilities preferred (training can be provided)

Experience

  • Minimum 3 years of hands-on crane operating experience
  • Familiarity with residential, commercial, and industrial/mine site work

Skills & Capabilities

  • Proficient in operating different types of cranes
  • Strong focus on safety and ability to follow regulations
  • Physical stamina and ability to work in diverse environments
  • Reliable, detail-oriented, and a strong team player
  • Willingness to travel for out-of-town jobs when needed

Key Responsibilities of Crane Operator

As a Crane Operator at Prairie Crane Inc., your daily duties will include:

  • Operating mobile cranes in residential, commercial, and industrial/mine sites
  • Performing lifts in the taxi fleet and site projects as assigned
